As the New Year sets in, let’s thank the Hyderabadi stars who made India proud internationally in 2016. The year saw a local lad take the title of being world’s most handsome man and not to forget the extremely talented badminton players P.V. Sindhu and Saina Nehwal who won greater achievements. Also, we have world’s number one tennis player Sania Mirza.
Along side being the world’s best, they are trend setters and inspiration to many.
Challenging the stereotypes, Rohit Khandelwal went on to win a beauty pageant becoming the first Asian to bag Mr. World title.
P.V Sindhu is the first Indian women to win a silver medal at Olympics. She is one of the two Indian women to win medals for badminton at Olympics.
Saina Nehwal has been getting medals for India since a long time now. She has been in top 3 since 2009.
Sania Mirza is ranked No.1 women’s doubles rankings. Sania has established herself as a successful Indian female Tennis player. Cheers to girl power!
