Mohammed Azharuddin was born in Hyderabad. He is former cricket captain and a politician. He attended All Saints High School and graduated from Nizam College.
V.V.S. Laxman:
He was born in Hyderabad and studied at Little Flower High School. Being born to doctors he joined as a medical student but chose cricket as a career over medicine. He was awarded an honorary doctorate degree by Teri University. He is currently a cricket commentator and pundit.
Sania Mirza:
Sania Mirza was born in Mumbai to Hyderabadi parents. She attended Nasr School and later graduated from St. Mary’s College. She took up tennis at the age of six and went on to become the world’s number on. Currently, she is the brand ambassador for Telangana.
Saina Nehwal:
She was born in Hisar Haryana and then shifed to Hyderabad with her family and had gotten badminton training in Hyderabad. She is former world no. 1, has maintained her world ranking in top ten since 2009.
Harsha Bhogle
Harsha Bhogle was born in a Marathi family in Hyderabad. He attended Hyderabad public school and did his chemical engineering from Osmania University’s College of Technology. He is a well-known cricket commentator and journalist.
P.V. Sindhu:
P.V Sindhu is a badminton player. She was born to P.V. Ramana and P. Vijaya. Sindhu and trained in Hyderabad. She became the first Indian women to win an Olympic medal.
Syeda Falak:
Born and brought up in Hyderabad she is a political science graduate from Villa Marie College. Falk is a Karate athlete representing India at World Karate Championship. Falak won a gold medal in US open karate championship.
